What is Divvum?

Divvum is a social expense-splitting and peer-to-peer payment platform. Send and receive money, split bills with friends, and manage group expenses — all in one app.

How do payments work?

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Divvum never stores your bank account or card numbers. Debit card payments are free to send.

What are the fees?

• Sending money with a debit card: 3.0% + $0.50
• Sending money with a credit card: 3.0% + $0.50
• Standard withdrawal: Free (1–3 business days)
• Instant withdrawal: 2.0% (Divvum Black members get reduced rates down to 1.35%)

How do I earn points?

You earn points by being a reliable friend on Divvum. Pay back a request within 24 hours and earn 30 points. Pay within 48 hours and earn 15 points. Pay after 48 hours and still earn 5 points. Use instant withdraw and earn 20 points. The first time you use instant withdraw, you'll get a big bonus for a total of 50 points. If you joined through a friend's referral, your first instant withdraw earns 100 points total.

What are the tiers?

There are two tiers above Standard: Divvum Gold and Divvum Black.

• Standard is where everyone starts.
• Divvum Gold unlocks at 500 points. You'll get the Gold look on your profile, a Gold tag, and your on-time payment streak on your profile.
• Divvum Black unlocks at 1,000 points. You'll get exclusive savings on instant withdrawals, a custom poke message, and the Black profile and tag.

What happens at 250 points?

You unlock your Monthly Recap — a breakdown of your splits, your on-time rating, and your average payback time.

What is the monthly refresh?

At the start of each month, your points refresh to keep rewards going to active users. The more active you are, the higher your points stay. To kick off each month, your first 3 actions earn double points. Divvum Black members earn triple instead.

How does Divvum Black save me money?

When you reach Black, your instant withdrawal fee drops from 2.0% to 1.7% right away. From there, every time you use instant withdraw, your rate gets a little lower — all the way down to 1.35%. That's the lowest instant withdrawal rate of any P2P app.

What if I lose Black?

If your points drop below 1,000 after a refresh, you'll move back to Gold or Standard. Your withdrawal rate returns to 2.0%, but your progress toward 1.35% is saved for when you earn Black again.

What is instant withdraw?

Instant withdraw gets your money to your bank in minutes instead of days. There's a small fee starting at 2.0%, with a minimum fee of $0.25 and a minimum withdrawal of $10. It's the fastest way to access your money.

What is a poke?

If someone owes you money, you can poke them once every 24 hours as a friendly reminder to pay up. Divvum Black members can customize what their poke message says.

What is the leaderboard?

The leaderboard ranks you among your friends based on your activity and reliability. There's also a group leaderboard that shows how your groups stack up against each other based on member scores and how quickly your group settles up.

How do referrals work?

Share your referral link with friends. When they sign up and use instant withdraw, you'll earn bonus points. They'll get a free first send and a boosted first instant withdraw bonus to get them started.

How do I verify my identity?

When you set up withdrawals, you'll be asked to provide identity information (name, date of birth, address, SSN). This is required by law and is securely handled by Stripe.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We use encryption in transit (TLS), secure cloud infrastructure, and role-based access controls. Sensitive financial data is handled exclusively by Stripe.

How do I contact support?

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and data.
